Biography

Ariadna Peya

Formed in dance in Barcelona, she has taken courses in New York, London, Israel, Berlin and Cuba with international choreographers. She enjoys different disciplines of dance and movement that have led her to create from her own language.

She has worked as a dancer in musical theater : Grease, the musical of your life, Flashdance and Vinegar Dances.

She has choreographed music videos: Calma, Oceanes, Reojo, Niña and Mujer Frontera by Clara Peya; Dance my baby dance by Funkystep & the Sey Sisters, Dreammer by Soraya, Good Girl by Clara Gispert and Canta by Judith Nedderman. 

She has collaborated as movement advisor of the shows Mares i filles, Homes foscos (David Pintó, Clara Peya), Nine (by Mariona Castillo),  Pluja ( Guillem Albà and Clara Peya), Calma! (Guillem Albà), Jo Vaig amb mi (by Paco Mir) and  Puertas Abiertas  (directed by Abel Folk).

With Les Impuxibles, she has worked as choreographer and dancer in all the shows premiered until the moment:

The last creations are Limbo,  Aüc; el so de les esquerdes , Painball ,  Suite Toc nº 6( on tour) and Des-espera (on tour). Les Impuxibles are now working on FAM (premiere  Festival Grec 2021).

Choreographer of the musical El despertar de la primavera-Spring awakening by Origen Produccions, Teatre Victòria, Teatre Gaudí.

Choreographer of the short film bt Estrella Damm 2018 Álex y Julia directed by Dani de la Torre produced by Utopia 126 (Formentera).

Choreographer of the musical Maremar by Dagoll Dagom premiered in september 2018 at Teatre Poliorama.

She has been teaching for twenty years, during which she has worked in different schools and workshops in Barcelona, Madrid and La Havana.
